About Natural Neighbours
Natural Neighbours is a London-based charity working at neighbourhood level to strengthen connections between people, communities and urban nature through walking routes, outdoor cultural activities and inclusive social initiatives.
Their work uses walking as a tool for connection: exploring local streets, parks, canals and shared spaces together becomes a way to build belonging, reduce isolation and make London more welcoming, accessible and sustainable.
Natural Neighbours’ activities are open to residents, volunteers, students, older people and newcomers, with a strong focus on participation, wellbeing, community care and neighbourhood engagement.

London Neighbourhood Walks is an open platform showcasing charities, associations and grassroots groups working with alternative walking routes, community exploration, social regeneration and slow tourism across London.
We are gradually building a network of:
- Community walking groups
- Project-based cultural walks
- Heritage neighbourhood routes
- Nature and wellbeing walking initiatives
